DigiDance Workshop in Helsinki

On Sunday, we ran a 2-hour workshop in Helsinki, for the Intercultural Weekend at Zodiak. It was a great opportunity to meet some nice dance people and share our knowledge about dance/technology.

This was my first time using MyoMapper in a workshop. It worked really well, providing solid OSC data from the MYO. Participants enjoyed wearing it and tweaking the sound and visuals with their movement. I think the MYO feels like proper cyborg wearable tech. It’s well-made and looks futuristic and professional. I might have to get another one to be able to track both arms simultaneously.
