The first Festival of Augmented Dance will take place in Oulu during November 2026. We will showcase a programme of dance performances from around the globe, including some world exclusives. Each performance highlights the relationship between dance and technology, but also uses the format to delve deeper into the human condition.
The main festival stage will be Valvesali, where you can see dance shows on 25th, 26th, 27th & 28th November, with additional content taking over the foyer and front window. We will also create a festival lounge (venue tbc) for exhibitions, installations, screenings workshops, talks and other events.
The full programme will be published in January 2026. Ticket details will appear later in the year.
The festival is supported by Oulu2026, City of Oulu, Taike, Troikatronix and Pipo Interfaces and is a low-carbon event.
