Our community art hub in the centre of Oulu, we moved in during March 2026 and Itu is currently a bit of a blank canvas, waiting to be filled in by the creative community.
You can find Itu on Kirkkokatu, opposite City Hall, nestled between Oulu Bookshop and the Wings Restaurant. It consists of the main space, mezzanine lounge, downstairs gallery and basement.
We will be hosting exhibitions and events throughout 2026 (at least) and provide a meeting point and office workspace for freelance artists.

24.08-29.08 – RIINA ÕUN (Estonia) Artist in residence – workshops and exhibition.
04.09-06.09 – Moving Blooming Walls – exhibition and performances by Elina Tähtelä
16.10 – 31.10 – HANNA-KAIJA TAKALO – performances and exhibitions
23.11 – 28.11 – FESTIVAL OF AUGMENTED DANCE – installations and performances from Marta Kosieradzka (Poland) and Amit Palgi (Netherlands)
